Setup Guide
Choose Your Plan
Select a plan based on how many voice assistants (phone lines) you need and your expected monthly call minutes. All plans include the same translation quality.
Create Your Account
Enter your name, email, and company name. This creates your organization in our system.
Complete Payment
Securely pay via Stripe. Your subscription starts immediately.
Create Your First Voice Assistant
This is where you set up your phone line:
- Name: A friendly label (e.g., "Customer Support Line")
- Area Code: Choose a US area code for your new number (pick one your customers recognize)
- Destination Number: Your real phone number where calls will ring
- Language Settings: Choose "Auto-detect" to let AI detect the caller's language automatically
Test Your Setup
Call your new CleanCall number from a different phone to make sure everything works!
Test Your Setup
After creating your voice assistant, test it immediately:
- Use a different phone (not your destination phone)
- Call your new CleanCall number
- Select a language from the menu
- Your destination phone should ring
- Answer and speak - you should hear the translation!
If your destination phone doesn't ring, double-check the number you entered.
Glossary
Voice Assistant
A dedicated phone line with its own phone number. Each voice assistant can have different settings. Your plan determines how many you can create.
Destination Number
The phone number where incoming calls are forwarded. This is your real phone - mobile, landline, or office line. When someone calls your CleanCall number, it rings here.
Area Code
The 3-digit code at the start of a US phone number (e.g., 212 for New York, 310 for Los Angeles). Choose an area code your customers will recognize and trust.
Auto-detect Language
Recommended setting. The AI automatically detects what language the caller is speaking. Best for businesses that serve customers in multiple languages.
Fixed Language
Use this if you ONLY serve customers who speak one specific language. For example, a Spanish-only support line. The system won't try to detect - it assumes all callers speak the selected language.
Interpreter Mode
When enabled, you hear the caller's original voice first, then the translation - like having a human interpreter on the call. Helpful when tone of voice matters. Available on select plans.
Smart Pass-through
When both parties speak the same language, the AI skips translation and connects you directly. Saves minutes and sounds more natural.
Included Minutes
The translation minutes included in your monthly plan. All your voice assistants share this pool. If you exceed your minutes, overage rates apply.
Outbound PIN
A security code you enter when making outbound calls through CleanCall. This prevents unauthorized use of your account. Set this in your voice assistant settings.
